China Star is a chinese restaurant in Coral Springs, Florida. It is listed at 1430 Coral Ridge Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33071, which places it among the local businesses of Coral Springs that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 AM–9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach China Star at (954) 341-0088; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, mychinastar168.com.

Coral Springs is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Coral Springs follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We are trying out different Chinese restaurants to maybe find a favorite one. China Star was good but not a favorite (yet). Ordered shrimp chow fun and I was expecting the very wide big noodles. This came with what looked like just egg noodles. It was just ok. Shrimp with broccoli was good but not enough taste. Egg foo Yung was good but still looking for a darker sauce to go with it. Egg roll was good also. Anyway no real complaints and will go back to try other dishes. Very nice service

Someone needs to tell the owners of this restaurant that this is a nice area & they could literally double their prices without people batting an eye. I picked up enough food last night to feed two people for three days and it was only $31. The restaurant was nearly 100Β°F inside as I waited on my order. That’s not safe for staff and I also don’t want to think about them sweating into my food… raise your prices and buy an AC unit for the love of God. With the cost of food and supplies skyrocketing, I literally don’t know how this business is turning a profit and they very much deserve to do so. The food was exactly what I wanted from Chinese take out, and like I said I have food for days now. Crab Rangoons are especially phenomenal.

This was sone gross food. Greasy fried rice. Chewy nasty sweet and sour chicken. Greasy egg rolls. My wife never grsts sick but was up throwing up all night from this disgusting food. Ive rarely been so extremely disappointed.

To begin, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food. While I understand that preferences vary, the food I received was nearly inedible. If you are interested in bread, chicken, or dark meat, the portions were excessively large and covered in excessive breading. The meat itself was often accompanied by large pieces of tendon or fat, which I would rather discard to avoid potential health issues.

It's the quintessential Chinese takeout place. Is the food phenomenal? No. But it is tasty, hits the spot, and is ready in 10 minutes. What more can you ask for? The staff is super sweet and can accommodate any request. I love it.
